Hi, my name is Becky.
Thor, yes that's his real name, works full-time at SDN Communication and is in school working towards his nursing degree.
We have a daughter (born February 2004), a son (born March 2007), and another son (born April 2009).
We decided to home school our children and joined SDHSA in August 2007. Since joining the group, I have taken on the position of writing the monthly newsletter Learning at Home. When I first joined SDHSA I also collected and submitted the group’s Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Soup Labels, and Land O' Lakes Milk Lids. I passed that position on to another member and now I organize volunteer activities for our group and still work on the monthly newsletter.
The group has been a great support and we enjoy the variety of activities that we do with fellow members.
