Hi, I’m Melissa, homeschooling my son (9) and daughter (4).  Eric is the husband and homeschooling dad around here. 

This is my third year in the SDHSA Leadership -- I was initially the Newsletter Editor, then I took over the website in the fall of ‘06.  I really enjoy putting together this site, and the group is terrific; our family benefits greatly from all the activities and I appreciate the support.

We are what would be considered Relaxed Eclectic in our style, primarily using natural learning methods, along with children’s lit (literature-based unit studies) and the internet.
