• The volunteer leadership of the SDHSA has a new addition and is undergoing some changes. We would like to welcome Karin, who will be in charge of collecting and submitting General Mills’ Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Labels For Education, and Land O’Lakes lids for their Save Five for Schools program. More information on these fundraising programs can be found here. Other leaders are changing responsibilities: In addition to her newsletter duties, Becky will now be our Volunteerism Coordinator -- finding volunteer projects in which we, as a group, can participate and help out in our community. Christina is our Special Activities Coordinator, arranging get-togethers and other non-tour related activities for the group. Tamara is assisting the volunteer leaders by taking care of administrative details, such as reserving facilities for meetings and activities, and contacting the media about events we sponsor that are open to the community. Thanks to all of our volunteers. If you would like to help the group by being a volunteer leader, please click here for more information.

• The SDHSA would like to say thanks and welcome to all our new member families, and welcome back to returning families. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact one of the group leaders, or better yet, join us at one of our Thursday evening planning meetings!
